I am happy to accept your offer to join Lending Hands charity,

I am pleased to accept the position of program manager.

Your acceptance of my bid for the position of committee chairman is greatly appreciated.

Your confidence in selecting me will be well founded.

I appreciate your selecting me from the large number who applied.

I am happy that you found a way to utilize my varied experience.

Your decision to grant me full control will enable me to give first priority to improving the annual fund raiser.

I have some procedures in mind for improving control of the accounting data.

There are effective promotion programs that can be implemented with a minimum of change in your current procedures.

I am aware that long hours will be required to accomplish your immediate goals.

Although this is a part-time activity,I will involve myself fully.

1.热情地说明接受了什么职位;

2.表示谢意;

Dear Mrs. Brown:

Your eagerly awaited letter stating that I have been selected for the position of chairperson of the Fund Raising Committee arrived today. Your confidence in me is appreciated and I heartily accept your offer.

As soon as it is appropriate,I would appreciate discussing the function and duties of the position with the outgoing chairman,Jim Smyth.

Please let me know when I can start.

Sincerely,

Dear Mr. Samuelson:

Thanks for passing on the word that I’ve been selected as the next president of the Lions. With so many good men in the running,I hardly expected to make it to the top five,let alone the presidency itself.

A training period will be necessary,however,to familiarize myself not only with the official duties but also with the ceremonial aspects of the position.

My efforts are aimed toward making this a most successful presidency by promoting unity as well as service among members.

Sincerely,
